Jill started her working life in an office and worked in administration for 17 years. After becoming a mother, she worked for a local nursery, which she went on to buy a share in. She managed and co-owned both nursery settings (one in York and one in East Riding) until starting work at the local primary school. Jill enjoyed supporting children with special needs until latterly when she did more general TA work. Now she has retired from her main job, Jill enjoys being more involved in her eldest daughter's dance school, although she has been a 'dance Mum' for almost 30 years, and has supported the school at events and as a chaperone from the beginning. She loves being part of Evolution Dance, supporting Hayley and working with the super students and their families!

Hayley Patrick-Copeland
Hayley has trained in many styles of dance, including Ballet, Tap, Disco, Line, Latin, Ballroom, Freestyle and Contemporary, as well as Musical Theatre.
Hayley’s love of dance began at the age of three, when she enrolled in local dance classes. Her passion to teach grew when she attended the Clover School of Dance, where she was thrilled to be offered choreography and teaching opportunities from the age of eleven.
As a young teenager she competed in Line Dance at UK and World Championship level and began training her own students, along with enjoying performing in various local productions herself and taking her Theatre and Dance A Levels.
Choreography credits in York include 'Honk!', 'West Side Story', 'Cats', 'Our House', 'Hairspray', 'Barnum', 'Fame' and 'High School Musical'.
Hayley is an Associate Member of the I.D.T.A., having taken exams with them as a child and young adult, and becoming a qualified teacher with them. She is DBS checked, insured, first aid trained and holds a PPL music license.
She was very proud to be awarded the Ann McKeown Award for Excellence and Inspirational Work with Children and Young People.
